Simplex R-Series Single Acting Hydraulic Cylinders are the durable, reliable, and versatile choice for general purpose industrial use. With a vast range of cylinder tonnages and strokes available it’s easy to find a cylinder perfectly matched to your application.
Threaded collars offer versatility in fixturing to give you many more application possibilities. Included inside R Series Cylinders is a positive stop to limit piston travel at the end of the stroke, adding extra strength and safety to your cylinder, and cylinder life is extended by the wiper seal.
- Single acting with heavy-duty internal retraction spring
- Solid and plated piston resists scoring & corrosion
- Heat treated grooved saddles are provided as standard
- Stop ring limits piston travel at the end of the stroke to prevent blow-out
- High flow couplers are plated to resist corrosion
- Polyurethane wipers clean the piston surface during retraction – protecting the inner cylinder assembly from dirt, moisture, and other contaminants.
- Meets ANSI/ASME B30.1 Safety Standards
- Load tested under 125% of the nominal capacity
- For working pressures up to 10,000 psi (700 bar)

LPL-Series are Low Profile Lock Nut Hydraulic Cylinders are single-acting, load return and include a lock nut to provide safe mechanical load holding for extended periods of time. All models are finished with a nitrocarburized coating for enhanced durability and corrosion protection in harsh working environments.

HCG Series Hydraulic Cylinders are the single-acting load return option from the industry-proven Enerpac high-tonnage range.
As with all of our high-tonnage cylinders, included are a multitude of special features inside and out, to deliver the increased levels of durability, safety, and performance vital for large-scale construction projects. Among these features are low-wear high pressure seals, replaceable composite plunger support bearings, and a tough nitrocarburized finish on the cylinder body and the plunger.
